About the NPCA NPCA Core Programs

NPCA Core Programs

The North Park Community Association supports many efforts in and around North Park. However, the following are considered our core programs.

Bird Park Summer Concerts

For over 8 years these family-friendly concerts have drawn hundreds of neighbors for relaxed summer fun and good music.  Contact Lynn Elliott at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to help with the 2010 concerts

Stop Graffiti Now!

This program began in 2008 as a way to protect our community from graffiti vandals. Our volunteers work with residents and businesses to remove and eliminate graffiti. Member Discount Program

To encourage shopping locally and provide increased value to members, we started the Member Discount Program so that members can save when they shop at select businesses in North Park.  To become a participating business or get more information contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. A Voice for North Park

The NPCA has always sought to provide information and advocacy for its members and the North Park community.  Ranging from working with elected officials to neighborhood code enforcement and other City departments, this effort is our way to help make sure the concerns of North Park residents are heard and addressed.

Community Clean-ups

These bi-monthly clean-ups focus on our parks, commercial corridors, and alleys and we come together to remove thousands of pounds of waste.  This effort also includes a policy push to block illegal dumping before it happens.  To find out more and get involved contact Omar Passons at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Community Mixers

We created the Community Mixers as a way to showcase local businesses and give NPCA members a chance to come together and enjoy our community.  If you would like to host a Mixer or get involved in planning, contact Paul Contreras at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
