The North Park Community Association (NPCA), in association with the Jessie Klicka Foundation, invites all qualified individuals to apply for the $1,000 NPCA/Klicka Foundation Scholarship.
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who currently reside in North Park and have applied to a four-year institution. Applicants must possess a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. This is a one-time award. The winner will be selected based on conformity with application requirements, two letters of reference and the completion of two essay questions. The successful applicant will demonstrate dedication to his/her community through one or more of the following areas: volunteerism, community service, civic participation, and extracurricular activities. The Klicka Foundation will send the scholarship award directly to the institution.
An original and four copies of a completed application, letters of recommendation and verification of grade point average must be submitted to the North Park Community Association, postmarked not later than April 4, 2008.
