National Night Out will be on Tuesday August 5, 2008. There will be no Neighorhood Watch meeting in August. I hope everyone will participate and have a great time.

The Western Division Monthly Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at San Diego Police Department's Western Division located at 5215 Gaines St.

Linda Lafond retired in June and is currently vacationing in England. How lucky! I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. my name is Elsa Kozacki. I have served in the position of Police Service Officer out on patrol for Western Division for one year. Before that I was working in Records as a Police Records Data Specialist for 22 years with the San Diego Police Department.

I am excited to get to know everyone and help out in any way I can with your police concerns. Please be patient with me. This month I will be holding an open forum meeting. I will be giving a survey. Please have in mind your three major police concerns. I would also welcome any comments or suggestions you may have. David Surwilo, the Community Relations Officer for Western Division will be on hand to answer questions.
