Graffiti Out Of Control In North Park!Help the neighborhood and contribute to your community in less than an hour per month! Message from Omar Passons, NPCA Board Member "I'm passionate about our community. As I mentioned at the annual meeting, we are sick of the graffiti in our neighborhood, and with your help, we are embarking on a plan to do something about it. In addition to working with North Park Main Street, local businesses, the City, and the Police Department, we are leading a neighbor-level effort for removal and long-term reduction of this ugly problem."
Here's how you can help:
Become a "Key Neighbor"A Key Neighbor's primary role is to receive reports of graffiti (via email or phone) from his or her neighbors and send them on to the NPCA Lead. The NPCA Lead will be responsible for contacting the police and getting the right resources out quickly for graffiti removal. Your contact information will only be shared with your immediate neighbors (within 1-2 blocks of your home) and the NPCA Lead. Your time commitment involves simply the time it takes you to send the reports once per week (or as they come in, if that's more convenient for you). If you are interested in contributing to this important effort and becoming a Key Neighbor, please email Omar Passons, at
