The San Diego Indie Music Festival is the brainchild of Alicia Champion, President and Founder of Champ Records, and Danielle Lo Presti, President and Founder of Say It Records. A near- legend in the San Diego music scene, Danielle is the godmother of the Southern California indie movement, having put in more legwork and clocked more field time in an effort to empower and enrich the independent music scene than almost all of today's startup indies combined. Her counterpart in this mission? The prodigy producer, songwriter, arranger, hard-rocking and hardworking Champion, who by the young age of 25 has had her independent label up and running for eight years, released two full length CDs of her own as well as full lengths from artists she's signed to her rapidly expanding powerhouse label's roster.  |
